This week's a doozy in Concord. Here are some of the priority issues that need your voice this week.
Note: Any bill that starts with HB is a House bill. Any bill that starts with SB is a Senate bill. You submit testimony in two different spots.

Requires local budgetary authority before a law enforcement agency enters into an agreement with ICE.

Repeals the business profits tax—one of NH’s largest sources of revenue (WTF?).

This is a non-germane (unrelated) amendment to the original gerrymandering bill that brings state-level school budget tax caps (SB675) back from the dead. Tricky way for our legislators to try again for something that already failed.

Authorizing the state to issue bonds to fund public school expenses. Relies on state debt as a temporary workaround instead of delivering a stable, equitable solution to fund public education.
